Assistant Professor(s) - Teacher Education (Reading & Literacy)
The Department of Teacher Education at Niagara University, a private Catholic institution sponsored by the Vincentian Community is seeking to fill two full-time, tenure-track faculty positions in the field of reading and literacy, starting August 2009.

Applicants must hold a doctorate degree or ABD or National Board Certification in reading, have P-12 and higher education classroom experience, and demonstrated potential for scholarship and collegial collaboration.

Additional desired qualifications include NYS certification and experience in high-need or urban settings (especially at the early childhood or secondary level), experience working with students with reading problems, and expertise with instructional technology.
