Assistant Professor - Special Education
The Department of Teacher Education at Niagara University, a private Catholic institution sponsored by the Vincentian Community is seeking to fill one full-time, tenure-track, faculty position in the field of special education, starting August 2009 pending budget approval.

Ideal applicants should hold a doctorate degree in special education or a closely related field, have P-12 and higher education classroom experience in special education, and show potential for scholarship and collegial collaboration.

Additional desired qualifications include National Board Certification, NYS or Ontario teaching certification, experience in high-need or urban settings, experience working with students with various exceptionalities at the elementary and secondary level, and technological expertise.
